~ easter ~
My school celebrated Easter with a raffle draw, they put the tickets into these colourful plastic eggs and spread them all around the campus! It was really nice to see these cheerful eggs so early in the morning!
~ chocolate dripped nails ~
I've been wanting to try this design for a long time now and I finally did! It was a lot easier than I thought it would be, in fact the hardest part was painting each nail a different colour lol
~ skinfood black sesame mask ~
I received a sample of this mask way back when I was in HK, it really does warm up! I was told to only put it on for about 5 mins.
~ bubble queen ~
I tried the ramune bbt at Bubble Queen but it was way too sweet and I didn't end up finishing it, also I really missed the fizz in the regular ramune drink lol
I saw a gorgeous pink sunset the other day but my camera captured it quite poorly =(
~ random ~
Super cute outdoor stools/decorations!!! They were for sale at Superstores in case anyone is wondering =)
The new Jolly Rancher candies! Hard on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside!.....actually when I was eating one of these it cut my tongue and I started to bleed >< be careful!
~ temptation ~
This bag took my breath away when I first saw it! It looked like the perfect travel bag, I loved the preppy vibe it gave off, the only problem was that it was pricey! So I just decided to take a photo of it......but a few weeks later I was still thinking about it and just decided to take the splurge! It's still available at H&M!
~ Lush animal awareness ~
Lush was having a petition to stop animal product testing so of course I went in to ask about it and signed the petition, if you do you also get to write on their glass windows!
~ hair trim ~
I *finally* got my hair trimmed and my bangs redone, they're more heavy set now and I love them this way! I was wondering why my bangs were starting to feel and look different from about a year ago despite the fact I hadn't really done anything to them. I also love my hair colour here hahahaha
~ army and navy annual shoe sale ~
It was my first time attending this annual shoe sale and let me tell you, it's madness!!!! There are unspoken steps you need to know when you go:
1.) Get there before the doors open which is 8 am.
2.) Run, don't walk to the shoe racks.
3.) Grab a basket and start shoving shoes into it better yet grab two baskets.
4.) When baskets are full, try the shoes on and keep the ones you want in the basket, leave the ones you don't want on the floor, there are people who will put them back for you.
5.) Repeat until satisfied.
The blue basket was mines, at first we didn't grab baskets but as soon as we realized why they were so important we ran to get one. In the end I only purchased two pair of shoes of which one pair I will probably wear once or twice because of the crazy high heel but it was too good a deal to pass up.
All in the all the sale is pretty good! It was a lot of fun and I look forward to doing it next year! I saw many brands including Steve Maddens and Betsey Johnson, I also didn't notice any pair going for more than 40$, Steve Maddens for 40$? I'm sold!
We went to this little cafe next door after the shoe sale to grab some breakfast. The place gets really good reviews and the interior is really nostalgic, classy but with a strong 50's diner's feel to it.
It looks much better than it tasted. In fact I was sort of unhappy when I saw this "sandwich" because how am I suppose to eat it without getting my hands dirty!?
It also came with an onion soup, which was much better than the main dish.
~ me! ~
Ending this post with a photo of yours truly hee hee, I finally realized what that cushion thing is for when I started to get a lot of pain from the seat belt rubbing against my collar bone, normally the cushion just falls and sits by the buckle. I wanna replace these ugly ones with cute totoro ones but Dino gave me a "no no" look when I suggested it =P
I also want to apologize for not blogging as often lately! I was actually away for a few days because I had to drive my sister over to the next province to drop her off at her co-op job! ( kay bf did most if not all of the driving lol) I'll be posting photos of that next and I also took photos of my 200 followers giveaway! =D
Till next time!
P.s Thank you for the comments! They really make my day! <3
Hi Suki!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment! Haha... I replied back! Did you end up getting either one of the purses? How about shoes? How many pairs did you get?! :-P
What's your rating for the SF Sesame Mask? I havent tried this one yet but I've tried the Blood Orange Mask and it smells soooo delicious!
Oh, I was chatting with a friend one day and told her I frequent your blog - he swung by and called me up and said you look like Selena from the past HK band group COOKIES ;-)... don't worrie, it's a good thing - that means you're cute!
Btw, I would also haul like a crazy woman if I am back in HK - so muuuuch to buy lol

Hi Suki!
ReplyDeleteOMG did you just divulge your bf's name on your blog???
I am so going to try that design on my nails. Right now I'm doing some colour block thing of light blue and red/pink. I am waiting to get gold nailpolish because I am dying to try it out.
Also love your hair. Hair always looks so much more healthy after they do a little trim. I think I'm going to get it trimmed when Mr.S goes for a haircut next. I introduced him to this hair salon in Chinatown and he never went back to his old one. Lol!
You should totally get the tape. You can decorate your laptop keyboard (I tried it but I wasn't patient enough to continue) http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qltfgd9vnHU/ToAAF6d7kII/AAAAAAAAe8U/FHNvW9GHh2U/s1600/301938_2472119240872_1189130900_2981398_1389928014_n.gif
Or you can use it for envelopes (like I did), and I used it to decorate a gift that I wrapped for someone. I used to be one of those people who shove things in tissue and gift bags but no longer!
I was sick the past few days but I'm better now, at work! I'll be leaving on the 17th returning the 23rd or something. Not going to be gone for long.
My camera doesn't have the flip out screen actually. I wish it did. I think my issue with my camera right now is having enough strength in my left arm to hold it up!!! I'm so scared I'm going to drop it hahah...
I'm excited about your giveaway too!
and yes I forgot to mention, it is Boo the dog - you know that dog that has its own facebook page and website Lol.
ReplyDeleteThose bags are super cuteeeee! I always check out everyone's purse/tote and wonder where they got it. They all look cuter and nicer than mine own, haha. And the food looks very yummy! :)
ReplyDeletesuki darling! i love those nails, theya re so cute! how did you do them? they look so precise!
ReplyDeleteooo shoe sale, i went to one before, it was crazy! i wish i went to teh one we had this year, missed it!

ok i'm seriously dying over your nails!!! i didn't see that they were chocolate dipped at first but i actually thought they were popsicles that were kinda melting hahah but either way your nails are AMAZING~! they look so professional!! i cannot believe you did that yourself!
ReplyDeletei heart your hair!! the bangs look soo so cute on you!! i love that they are more "heavy set" it's very adorable on you! very audrey hepburn-ish!
hrmm to answer your question about the miu miu bag.. it's really not difficult to get things out of because i generally always wear it cross body.. although i would imagine if you were holding it in the crook of your arm then yes it would be very difficult to get things out because then your arm would be blocking the opening haha.
haha no secret to wearing high heels.. just lots of practice.. i wear them around the house a lot hahaha.. and no my feet don't sweat in them.. i've found my feet don't sweat in my designer shoes because they're made with real leather whereas my feet use to sweat a lot when i didn't wear designer shoes because they were usually made with some kind of synethic material.
Aww Suki you look adorable as always!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE Your nails btw!! I wanna try now!! Really hope it is easy to achieve. I'll prob screw up :( LMAO
That shoe sale!! OMG I wanna go now!!! My dad goes there alot, didntt know about the shoe sale though. :(
